MapleLearn News is an education news website focused on Canada. We publish articles, explainers, and video content that summarize education related developments and provide context for readers. Coverage may include K 12 policy updates, post secondary news, skills training, classroom technology, and public education administration at the provincial, territorial, and institutional level.
The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, the Service may include summaries, interpretations, and links to external sources. We do not provide official guidance on behalf of governments, ministries, school boards, colleges, universities, or other organizations.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, content availability, and access requirements. We do not guarantee that any specific topic, region, or institution will be covered.

We grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non commercial use. This license does not permit resale, redistribution, or systematic extraction of content.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that content will be complete, current, or suitable for your specific needs. You use the Service at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapleLearn News and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or reputational harm arising out of or related to your access to or use of the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MapleLearn News total direct liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service will not exceed the amount paid by you to MapleLearn News in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is lower.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MapleLearn News and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required to protect the security or integrity of the Service. If accounts are offered and you have an account, termination may include disabling your ability to sign in.
The following sections will survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, Dispute Resolution, and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that the courts located in Toronto, Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service, subject to the dispute resolution process below.
13. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us and providing a brief written description of the issue and your requested resolution. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith within 30 days of receiving your notice.
If the dispute is not resolved within the informal resolution period, either party may pursue claims in the courts described in the Governing Law section, unless applicable law requires a different venue or process.
14. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will become effective 14 days after they are posted on this page, unless a shorter period is required for security or legal compliance. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
